what drives me

Community, outreach, & keeping arts actively attainable regardless of age, ability, & budget is the driving force behind G's artistic endeavors.

Although her personal artistic life had been consumed during her years as a full-time Makeup & Prosthetics/FX Design Program Coordinator & Instructor at Columbia College (see "as an instructor" to the right) Glenese still strives to wrangle the time necessary for a new artistic chapter through G-Loggia Design Lab. This will be a creature/FX, concept, & digital imaging studio with an emphasis towards “a calculated re-alignment of the everyday” both in project work & the atelier classes offered for anyone interested in furthering their artistic skills & endeavors (dabblers, students, & professionals alike).

2013 (through 2017) marked her inaugural season as Owner/Producer/Artistic Manager of Bare Knuckle Productions (BNP) -- a production company which intertwines the aesthetics & artistry of Stunts/Theatrical Combat with live FX & Makeup into intimate & immersive performances.

as an instructor

After a few years as a substitute, Glenese began teaching at Columbia College in 2010 as an Adjunct Instructor of Makeup & Prosthetics courses at both the undergraduate level & for the High School Institute (as well as teaching Theatre Foundations -- Design). From 2013 until 2018 she held a Full-Time Lecturer position as the Makeup & Prosthetics Design Program Coordinator. Along with that she mentored her student artists across their wide variety of projects both in-class as well college-wide with a variety of Theatre/Film/TV productions & for MUFX Makeup Student Organization.

In 2018 she stepped down from that position in order to bring her focus there back to the students -- as an part-time instructor of Makeup & Prosthetics Design .

In between teaching classes at the collegiate level, she has been a Lead Instructor & Presenter for Esteem Development through Greater Expectations teaching various design, technical, & theatrical combat courses while also serving as Production Stage Manager for a vast majority of the company productions until 2014. She has twice received the Commitment to Excellence Award from United Parents Support for Down Syndrome for her work as Production Stage Manager & Designer.

Elsewhere, she has been an Associate Instructor for Dueling Arts Intl. teaching theatrical combat courses & has been a coordinator/instructor for various art, athletic, & fitness classes or events.
